Finally took the church leadership role
So I said yes to being a small group leader at church starting next month. Honestly scared out of my mind but feel like God's been pushing me toward this for a while. My wife has been so supportive and I want my kids to see that faith means actually serving, not just sitting in pews on Sunday. Praying I can be authentic and help other families grow closer to God. Appreciate this community.
Congrats, man. That takes guts. Best advice I got when I took a leadership role was to just be yourself and show up prepared. People don't need you to be perfect, they just need you to actually care. Which you clearly do.
