Getting kids interested in church and faith
We take our kids to Sunday service but honestly they seem bored and resentful. My wife and I are committed to raising them with strong faith but it feels like church is becoming something we force them to do. We pray at home, talk about God, but they're not naturally drawn to it. Any ideas for making it less of a chore and more genuine? They're 9 and 12.
Have you asked them what specifically is boring? Could be the sermon length, the environment, the people. Get them involved in finding solutions instead of just dragging them. My 9yo actually wanted to help with the little kids class and suddenly church got cool.
