Getting teenagers excited about faith
My 15 and 17 year olds are at that age where they're questioning everything which I guess is healthy but I'm worried faith is becoming just something mom and dad believe in, not something they own for themselves. We do family devotions but it feels obligatory. Tried a few different approaches - young life group seemed to help, reading a book together as a family sparked some good conversations. Mostly I'm trying not to force it and model living out my beliefs consistently. How do other dads navigate the teen years with faith stuff?
The questioning phase is actually healthy like you said. My 16yo asked me some tough questions last year that made me think deeper about my own beliefs. Turns out we learned together.
