How do you actually pray with your kids?

My wife wants to start having family prayer time and I'm all for it but I feel like I'm making it awkward. We have 3 kids ranging from 8 to 14. When I try to lead we just feel stiff and formal and the older kids roll their eyes. I want them to see faith as natural not forced. How do you guys do it at your houses?
