How do you handle friends who parent way different than your faith?

Got put in a weird spot last week. My neighbor's kid was over and they were talking about how Santa is real and magical, which fine whatever, but then the parent made a comment about how they don't really do church stuff because they just want the kids to 'figure out what they believe later.' I wasn't trying to be judgmental but it got me thinking - how do I raise my kids with strong Christian values when they're being exposed to totally different worldviews all the time? I want them confident in their faith but not like... mean to other kids about it. Any of you dealing with this?

Man, that's tough because you want to respect other families' choices but also raise your kids with your own values. I think it's okay to have that conversation with your neighbor ahead of time next visit if it's really bugging you.

Still figuring this out myself with my toddler and newborn, but I think the Santa thing is way less important than just keeping the friendship intact. Your kid will be fine either way.
