How do you handle secular influences at school?

Daughter came home asking why her teacher said evolution is fact when we taught her about creation. She's 10 and I don't want her feeling like she has to choose between school and what we believe. I'm trying to model thoughtful faith instead of just shutting down everything worldly, but it's tricky. How do you guys navigate this stuff while still raising kids who think for themselves but hold onto their faith?
