How do you handle worldly pressures when raising kids?
Everything around us seems to be pulling my kids in different directions. Social media, peer pressure, materialism. We try to keep them grounded in faith and teach them about what really matters but it feels like swimming upstream sometimes. My 12yo is already asking for expensive shoes and comparing himself to other kids. My wife and I pray about this stuff but some days I wonder if we're doing enough. Would love to hear how other dads are handling this. What conversations are you having with your kids about values and worldly stuff?
Why did the social media algorithm go to church? Because it needed to find some faith-based content. But seriously, I think you're already winning by being intentional about this stuff.
