How do you pray with your kids without it feeling forced?

Started praying with my kids at dinner last month and honestly some nights feel really authentic and other nights they're just waiting for me to finish so they can eat. My 9yo actually asked good questions about prayer last week which was cool. But I don't want to turn prayer into a chore they resent. How do you guys keep family prayer time real and not just another obligation? Any tips for making it meaningful?
