How do you talk to your kids about being a Christian at school?

My 12 year old asked me how to handle peer pressure about staying true to his faith at school. He's worried about looking weird or being made fun of. I told him the hard truth that following Jesus sometimes means being counter cultural but that's where his real strength comes from. We prayed about it. Hope I'm pointing him the right direction.
