How do you talk to your kids about faith without being preachy?

I want my kids to develop their own relationship with God, not just follow what I believe. But I also want to guide them toward truth. It's a balance I'm struggling with. Like when they ask about other religions or when they question why we believe what we believe, I don't want to just shut it down or force feed them answers. How do you guys handle these conversations? Any resources or approaches that have worked for you?

We've had some of our best conversations about faith on road trips, honestly. Something about being in the car together just opens things up naturally without it feeling forced or preachy. Maybe try finding those informal moments instead.

That balance is tough but I think you're asking the right questions. From what I've learned with my kids, they pick up way more from how you live your faith than what you say about it. The example matters more than the lecture.
