How do you talk to your kids about temptation
My oldest is getting to that age where peer pressure is starting to be a real thing and I want to have the conversations now before the big stuff hits. Not just about drugs and drinking but about everyday temptations to be unkind, to lie, to cheat on a test. I want him to understand that part of being a Christian is wrestling with those things and choosing the hard right over the easy wrong. How are other dads handling these conversations? I don't want to be preachy but I also don't want to pretend these things aren't coming.
This is such a smart move getting ahead of it. I'm only 8 months in so I haven't hit this stage yet, but I'm already thinking about how I want to handle these conversations with my little one down the road.
