Led my kids in prayer without my wife asking me to

Small victory but it meant something to me. Usually my wife initiates family prayer at dinner but tonight I just naturally started us off in prayer. Asked God to bless our food and our time together and to help us be more like Christ this week. My oldest actually said amen really thoughtfully instead of rushing through it. Realizing I need to step up more as the spiritual leader in this house instead of letting my wife carry that weight.

That's awesome brother. Taking ownership of that spiritual leadership is important. My wife usually leads too but you know what, next time we pray I'm going to step up.
