Man my wife is crushing it as a mom

Wanted to give a shout out to all the wives out there who are doing the heavy lifting with the kids. Mine packed lunches for a week, got them to soccer practice early, and still had energy to help with homework. Meanwhile I'm sitting here pretending I did something important because I took out the trash. Realizing I need to step up my game and actually be a partner in this instead of just checking boxes. She deserves to know I see how hard she's working. Respect to all the men trying to be real leaders and supporters at home.

This needed to be said. My wife does like 80% of the mental load around here and I don't think she gets told enough how much that matters.

I should probably make a post like this about mine too. She's been managing the kids' schedules, doctor appointments, school stuff, feeding everybody healthy meals while I just show up and play the fun dad role sometimes. Respect.
