Not gonna lie I teared up a little. We've been doing devotions as a family for about a year now and it's finally clicking for him. He understood the gospel in a way that's age appropriate but also real. Spent like 20 minutes talking about it and he kept asking questions. It reminded me why I'm trying so hard to raise my kids with faith at the center. These moments make all the parenting struggles worth it.

Oh man, that's such a special moment. As a new dad I'm still trying to figure out all this stuff, but seeing what's possible when you show up consistently like you have gives me hope.
