Need advice on raising kids to actually live their faith, not just talk it
My wife and I have been thinking a lot about this lately. We take the kids to church every Sunday, we pray at meals, we read Bible stories. But I don't want them to just go through the motions. I want them to actually understand Jesus and have real faith that carries them through life. We've been talking about volunteering as a family at the homeless shelter or food bank. I think seeing faith in action might impact them more than anything else. Has anyone done something similar? Would love to hear what's worked for you guys.
This is the real question right? Church on Sunday is one thing but living it out the other six days is harder. Sounds like you and your wife are on the same page which is half the battle.
