Prayer request - son struggling at school

Need prayers for my oldest. He's been getting bullied at school and his grades are dropping because of it. We've been praying with him every night and talking to his teacher, but I feel like I'm not doing enough as a dad. Trying to model strength and faith but inside I'm worried sick. Would appreciate any advice from dads who've been through this. How do you teach your kids to turn the other cheek while also standing up for themselves?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. The combination of bullying and struggling academically creates a downward spiral pretty fast. Getting the school involved and maybe talking to a counselor could really help him feel supported.

Praying for your son and your family. We had something similar with our oldest and it took a while to work through but he came out stronger on the other side. Hang in there.

That's rough. Bullying and grades dropping together usually means he's pretty stressed out. Have you talked to the school about what's happening? Sometimes they can help more than people think.
