Prayer time with kids is changing everything

Started praying with my boys at bedtime about 6 months ago and it's been one of the best decisions I've made as a father. At first it felt awkward and forced but now they actually ask for it. My 5 year old prayed for his friend at school today without me prompting him. Seeing my kids develop their own faith and not just copy mine has been amazing. It's also made me a better dad because I'm more intentional about what I'm modeling.

That's awesome man. I started doing something similar with my kid and yeah, those quiet moments before bed hit different. The awkwardness fades quick once you realize they're just happy you're there.
