Praying with my kids before bed - wondering if I'm doing this right

So I started this thing where we pray together before bed and I'm honestly not sure if I'm doing it correctly. My 6 year old just said 'God bless the dinosaurs' and my 4 year old asked why God doesn't just make homework disappear. Part of me wants to correct them but another part thinks maybe that's the point? They're talking to God, being honest, asking questions. My wife says I'm overthinking it but I want to make sure I'm leading them the right way spiritually. Anyone else struggle with this or am I just being paranoid?

There's no wrong way to do this. Kids saying 'God bless the pizza' or whatever is honestly perfect, they're learning that prayer is just talking to God about what matters to them.

Man, you're doing great just by being intentional about it. My boys are still too little for real prayers but I love that your 6 year old is already bringing his own stuff to God, even if it's random. That's the whole point, right?
