Raising Godly Kids in a Secular Culture
The values we're trying to teach our kids are constantly being challenged. School curriculum, what their friends are watching, social media, all of it points them away from God. We're doing our part at home, church on Sunday, devotionals, trying to live it out. But I worry we're fighting a losing battle. My wife and I were just talking about potentially homeschooling and moving to a more conservative area but that might be running away. How do you guys balance protecting your kids' faith while also not completely isolating them from the world?
You're not alone in this fight. My wife and I talk about this constantly with our three. Best thing we've found is being really intentional about our own example at home and having real conversations with them about why we believe what we believe.
