Raising kids in a godless world - need advice
My wife and I are trying to raise our three kids with strong Christian values but everything around us seems to push the opposite direction. School, friends, media, sports teams. I don't want to shelter them completely because I know that's not realistic, but I'm worried they're going to lose their way as they get older. We go to church on Sundays and we pray at meals but sometimes it feels like that's not enough. How are you guys handling this balance between letting them be in the world but not of the world? Any fathers out there successfully doing this with older teenagers?
This is something I'm already worried about with my daughter and she's barely a year old. I think the key is being intentional about it without making them feel isolated from their peers. Curious to hear what strategies work for you guys.
