Raising kids in a secular culture
It feels like everything is pushing against what we're trying to teach at home. School, TV, friends, social media. My kids are getting older and I'm realizing I can't just shelter them. We're trying to ground them in scripture so they can think critically and make good choices even when we're not around. Praying a lot more than I used to. Anyone else feel like this is harder than it was 10 years ago?
This is real. Everything feels like it's working against what we're trying to teach at home. It's exhausting but I keep reminding myself that my influence still matters more than all that noise combined.
