Setting boundaries at work to prioritize family time - is this possible?
I've been praying a lot about being more present for my kids and wife instead of always grinding at the office. The money's good but I'm missing so much. Just told my boss I'm done working weekends and cutting back on late nights. Some coworkers think I'm crazy but my faith has shown me what really matters. Anyone else made this shift? How did you navigate the financial hit and career impact while staying true to what God called you to do?
Boundaries are absolutely possible and honestly necessary. I do all our laundry and it sounds weird but that routine helps me stay grounded in what matters. Setting limits at work sounds hard but it gets easier once you realize your kids growing up won't wait for you.
