Started a Bible study with my boys every Sunday morning

Been doing this for 3 weeks now. Nothing fancy, just 10 minutes before breakfast where we read a verse and I ask them what it means. My 5yo said yesterday that he wants to be like Jesus because Jesus was nice to people. That simple statement hit me different. This is what I want to build, a foundation of faith they can stand on.

10 minutes is perfect. Not too much where they tune out but enough to actually talk about something meaningful. How are your boys responding so far?

Really respect this. Even with custody schedules being what they are, I try to have consistent time with my boys for stuff like this. Keeps things grounded.

I've been thinking about starting something like this. Does the breakfast right after help keep them engaged or does it feel rushed?

That's awesome. Simple is better anyway. Kids don't need fancy production, just consistent time with dad. What kind of Bible are you using for it?
