Started a family prayer night and it's actually working
So last month things felt disconnected between me and the kids. Too much screen time, too much rush, not enough God time. I sat down and told them we're doing family prayer every Wednesday night at 7pm no matter what. We sit around the living room, turn off phones, and just pray together for like 20 minutes. My daughter asked God to help her with her anxiety about school. My oldest said he's struggling with jealousy toward his friend. Stuff they probably wouldn't have told me otherwise. This is how you build a godly household. Not perfectly but intentionally.
Family prayer night is exactly the kind of thing that helps reset the rhythm. We started something similar and it actually brings everyone back to the table together without the rush. Even if some kids are skeptical at first.
