Started a morning prayer routine with my kids before school
For the last month we've been doing 10 minutes of prayer together before breakfast before the kids head to school. Nothing fancy, just me, my wife, and the three kids sitting at the table. We pray for each other, for protection, for wisdom in their day. My oldest was resistant at first but now he's actually leading some of the prayers. Seeing my kids genuinely talk to God like He's present and listening has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my fatherhood. Just wanted to share this because I know a lot of guys struggle with how to make faith practical and real in their homes. This simple habit has changed our whole family dynamic.
This is beautiful. My daughter's only 8 months old but I'm already thinking about traditions like this. Did it take a while for them to buy in or did they get excited about it pretty quick?
