Started praying with my 6 year old before bed and something shifted

This is gonna sound small but I need to share it. A few weeks ago I committed to praying with my youngest before he goes to sleep. Just simple stuff, thanking God for the day, asking Him to watch over our family, whatever comes to mind. Last night he asked me if God could help his friend's dad stop being so angry all the time. The faith of a child man. He's not worried about perfect words or doing it right, he just trusts that God listens. I'm 38 and I'm learning more about faith from this 6 year old than from anywhere else. Anyone else experienced this with their kids?
