Struggling to be the spiritual leader at home

I want to lead my family in faith but honestly I feel like I'm faking it half the time. My kids ask me questions about God that I don't have good answers to. I pray but sometimes it feels like I'm just going through motions. How do you actually live out your faith in a way your kids can see and understand? I don't want them thinking their dad is a hypocrite.

You don't have to be a theologian to guide your kids spiritually. Just show up, be honest about your questions, and keep trying. That's what matters at this stage.

Honestly the not having all the answers is kind of the point. My kids ask me stuff I don't know too and we figure it out together. That's real leadership.
