Struggling to be the spiritual leader my family needs
Been thinking a lot lately about whether I'm actually walking the walk or just talking it. My kids see me lose my temper at work stuff, they hear me complain about my boss, and then I'm trying to teach them about patience and kindness. Feel like a hypocrite some days. Started doing morning prayer before they wake up and it's helping but man, this is harder than I thought. Anyone else feel like they're failing at this?
This hits hard. I struggle with this too. My kids see me tired, stressed, sometimes not patient. But I think showing them that I'm trying, that I mess up and say sorry, that I keep working on being better - that's the spiritual leadership piece. It's not about being perfect.
