Struggling to be the spiritual leader my family needs
Guys, I need some real talk. I'm trying to lead my family spiritually but I feel like such a hypocrite sometimes. I lose my temper over stupid stuff like the kids not listening, then an hour later I'm asking them to pray with me about patience. How do you actually walk the walk instead of just talking about it? My wife mentioned last week that she notices when I'm being fake about my faith and it cut deep. I want my kids to see genuine faith, not just Sunday morning Christianity. Any of you been through this?
What does spiritual leadership look like for you? Because it doesn't have to be sermons and perfection. It could just be consistency, kindness, and talking through tough stuff with your family.
