Struggling to lead by example

Been trying really hard to be the spiritual leader in my home like my pastor talks about. But honestly I fail at it constantly. I lose patience with my kids, I watch stuff I shouldn't when everyone's asleep, I don't pray like I should. My oldest asked me why we read the Bible if I don't act like it. That hit different. How do you guys find balance between being real with your struggles and actually leading your family toward God?
