Struggling to lead by example when work is kicking my butt
Guys I need some real talk. I work long hours and I'm exhausted when I get home. My kids want to play, my wife needs me to be present, and I'm barely holding it together. How do I lead by example when I'm this burnt out? I feel like a hypocrite telling my kids to have faith and patience when I'm snapping at everyone. Any of you dealing with this?
The exhaustion is real. I switched to contracting partly because of this. What if you carved out just 20 minutes after work where you're fully present instead of trying to do the whole evening? Might help.
