Struggling to lead spiritually when I don't feel like I'm getting it right

I want to be that dad who prays with his kids, reads the Bible with them, leads family devotions. But honestly some days I'm just going through the motions and I think they can tell. I mess up, I lose my patience, I say things I shouldn't. How am I supposed to teach them about Christ when I'm constantly falling short? I know we're all sinners but man it's discouraging. Does anyone else feel like a hypocrite trying to lead their family spiritually?

I get it - some days I'm just going through the motions too. But honestly, your kids don't need perfect spiritual leadership. They just need to see you trying and being real about the struggle.

Going through the motions on some days is still going through them. Your twin girls see you showing up and trying, and that matters way more than you being flawless at it.
