Struggling to model integrity when work is testing me
Been in a tough spot at my job where my boss wants me to cut corners on a project. Keep thinking about my kids watching how I handle this. Don't want to teach them that compromise is okay when things get hard. Been praying about it all week. Anyone else dealt with losing money or opportunity to stay true to your values? How did you explain it to your kids? My 8 year old asked me yesterday why I looked worried and I realized he's already noticing.
That's a tough position man. I've been there where your boss is asking you to do something that doesn't sit right. The thing is, your kids are always watching how you handle these moments. How you act when nobody's looking matters more than any paycheck.
