Struggling to pray with my kids consistently

My wife has been pointing out that I talk about faith all the time but rarely actually pray with the boys before bed. I'll admit it, I'm inconsistent. Some nights I'm too tired or we get caught up in homework and screens. How do you guys make it a real habit and not just something that feels forced? Want to actually lead them spiritually, not just tell them what to believe.
