Struggling with patience - kids testing me today

Man, today was rough. My 6 year old spilled juice all over the couch right after I told him to be careful, and I just lost it. Yelled at him and sent him to his room. Now I'm sitting here feeling like a complete failure as a Christian dad. My wife gave me that look. How do you guys handle those moments when your kids push every button and you're about to snap? I know Jesus would have handled it with grace but instead I acted like an angry maniac. Trying to do better.

Dude, I've been there. The spill happened, you reacted, now the thing is to bounce back and maybe give him a hug later and explain what happened. Kids are resilient and they forget faster than we do.

Hey man, we all lose it sometimes. My son tested me hard today too and I wasn't proud of how I handled it. The fact that you're even thinking about this means you care. Tomorrow's a fresh start.
