Struggling with setting boundaries with my teenage daughter

She's 15 and wants to do things I'm not comfortable with, going places with boys I don't know, staying out later, the usual stuff. I'm trying to lead with love but also with conviction about what's right. My pastor said I need to be firm but not harsh, set boundaries but explain why we have them from a Biblical perspective. Problem is I don't want to push her away from God or from me. I want her to make good choices because she understands why, not just because I said so. Any other dads dealing with this? How do you balance protecting them with letting them grow?
