Struggling with work taking me away from family time
Been working overtime the last few months trying to get ahead financially but my wife pointed out I'm missing bedtimes and my daughter asked why I'm always tired. Hit me hard. Started reading Ephesians 5 again about leading the family spiritually and realized I can't do that on a screen checking emails. Cutting back my hours and we're tightening the budget. Money isn't worth missing their childhood. Anyone else had to make this call?
This one hits different. I've been there and honestly it's tough because the financial security part makes sense but you're missing the moment, you know? Have you talked to your wife about what specific times matter most to her?
