Teaching my boys about integrity when the world doesn't reward it

Caught my oldest at school trying to copy homework answers off a smart kid. We had a long talk about it and he said "but everyone does it." I get it. I want him to succeed. But also I want him to be a man of character more than a man with a good GPA. Been praying about how to instill that without being preachy. Anyone else dealing with this?

Had that exact conversation with my oldest on a trail last month. Hard to compete with 'everyone does it' but I think they eventually get that doing the right thing is its own reward. Hang in there.
