Teaching my kids about tithing and generosity

Got my boys involved in helping pick out stuff for the food bank this weekend and it was honestly one of the best parenting moments I've had. They were asking questions about why some families don't have enough to eat and we got to talk about being good stewards and giving back. My oldest even wanted to put some of his allowance toward it without me asking. These are the moments I pray stick with them as they grow up. Grateful for opportunities to show them what it looks like to live out our faith.

Those food bank trips hit different when the kids actually get it. We did something similar last month and my oldest wouldn't stop talking about it for days. You're planting good seeds there.
