Trying to be the spiritual leader my family needs but feeling like a hypocrite
Been trying real hard to pray before meals and read the Bible with my kids, but then I lose my temper over something stupid and yell at my wife in front of them. How are they supposed to see Christ in me when I'm acting like that? Feel like all my efforts to build a godly home get undermined by one bad afternoon. Anyone know how to actually walk the walk instead of just talking about it?
I get this. I lose my patience way too quick and then feel terrible about it right after. At least you're praying with them and reading the Bible regularly. That consistency is what counts, not being some perfect version of a parent.
