Trying to walk the walk when my kids call me out

So my 7 year old caught me yelling at another driver in traffic yesterday and asked why I was being mean when I always tell him to be kind. Hit me like a ton of bricks. I realized I've been saying all the right things about Christian values but not actually living it in front of my kids. Started praying about it that night and committing to actually model the patience and grace I'm trying to teach them. Anyone else struggle with this gap between what you say and what you do?
