Walking the walk at work is harder than I thought

I committed to being a Christian witness at my job but man it's tough when everyone else is cutting corners and making jokes I used to laugh at. Had a situation yesterday where I could have compromised to close a deal and I just didn't do it. Lost the sale but felt God's peace about it. My kids don't see what happens at work but I know God does and my character matters even when nobody's watching. Anyone else trying to stay true to their faith in a secular workplace?

That's real integrity right there. It gets easier once you realize the temporary discomfort is way better than compromising what you actually believe in.

Man, I feel this. Being the guy who doesn't laugh at the crude stuff anymore is lonely sometimes, but your coworkers will notice and respect it even if they don't say it. Hang in there, brother.
