Been realizing that my kids watch everything I do way more than they listen to what I say. I can tell them to be kind and honest but if I'm cutting corners at work or gossiping about neighbors, they see through that. Started being more intentional about how I conduct myself. It's humbling honestly. Makes me want to be a better man not just for my own sake but because they're watching. Still fail plenty but at least I'm being more conscious of it.

This is such a real observation. I've noticed my kids do exactly what they see me do, not what I tell them to do. Changed my whole perspective on parenting honestly.
100 percent. My oldest called me out on something I said the other day and I realized he was right because he'd watched me do the exact opposite. Humbling but good wake up call.
