What does leading spiritually as a dad actually look like?
Pastor keeps saying I need to be the spiritual leader of my home and honestly I feel inadequate for it. I wasn't raised with strong faith, just became a Christian a few years ago. My wife is way more knowledgeable about scripture and the kids actually listen to her better about faith stuff. I want to step up but I'm worried about messing it up. Where do I even start?
You're already doing it by asking this question and wanting to grow into it. My pastor told me once that spiritual leadership is just being authentic about your own journey, not pretending you had it all figured out from day one. Your kids will respect that honesty way more than fake perfection.
