Wife thinks I'm not a spiritual leader at home

Had a tough conversation with my wife last night. She said she doesn't feel like I'm leading our family spiritually and it stung because she's right. I've been lazy about family devotions and barely pray with the kids. I'm making a commitment this week to start taking this seriously. Looking for accountability if anyone's willing to check in with me on how it goes.

Had a similar conversation myself. I realized she wanted me to be more intentional about talking to the kids about values and beliefs, not just going through the motions. Started a Sunday family conversation about it and it helped.

That's a tough one to hear. Spiritual leadership can mean different things but maybe she's looking for you to take point on family prayer time or have conversations about faith? Worth asking her specifically what she needs to see.

This one's important. Listen to what specifically she's feeling is missing. Is it daily prayer? Teaching moments? Leading by example? The answer might surprise you.
