Wrestling with how to talk to my kids about the world
My kids are asking harder questions about why bad things happen and why people act the way they do. I want them to understand that we live in a broken world but that Jesus is our hope. I want to protect their innocence but also prepare them spiritually. Been reading some books on Christian parenting and leaning on my church community. Anybody else dealing with this? How do you keep your kids grounded in faith when everything around them says different?
This is where faith conversation gets real. I struggle with this too. How old are your kids? The answer probably changes depending on where they're at developmentally.
