A Young Father Fighting to Keep His Family Standing
Good morning everyone, I’m writing this from a place of honesty and humility. I am a 20‑year‑old father, blessed with a loving wife and a beautiful daughter who is now 9 months old, soon to be 10. Becoming a father changed my life in ways I never expected — not because of the child, but because life itself shifted around me. Since then, everything has become harder, and every day feels like a test of strength and faith because right now I can’t even afford a milk money for my daughter.
My father passed away on December 18th, 2018, and since then my family has been doing everything we can to survive. We are not rich, but God has kept us from shame. Work is extremely hard to find in my country. Even when I finally find a job, they often tell me later that they no longer need workers. I try not to complain, but the truth is that life has become very heavy.
There are days when I cannot even afford a simple cup of coffee. When emergencies come, I call my brother or my mother — not because they have much, but because they try their best for me. My mother can only afford food for us now. My brother recently sent me ₦5,000 (about $3.50), and I used it to buy food for my wife, my child, and myself. It will last only a few days, but I believe God will provide before it finishes.
I refuse to do anything wrong online. I will not scam people or deceive anyone. I want to live clean, and I want my daughter to grow up knowing her father chose the right path even when life was difficult. People tell me I have a gift — that my motivational words help them heal and I could use that to help people and got paid from it. I tried to share my talent online, but many people don’t listen because they don’t know the story behind my strength.
I am tired, but I am still standing. I am still believing. I am still pushing. I know God will open a door for me one day. I am sharing this because sometimes even strong people need support, encouragement, or a helping hand. Life is not easy for any of us, and I know many fathers out there carry their own burdens too.
If anyone feels moved by my story, your prayers, your encouragement, or even your advice would mean a lot to me. I am doing my best for my family, and I believe God will honor that effort. And I’m letting the word know if anyone willing able to help in this situation even a little $ would be very very appreciated because right now I’m only have hope in my mind god will do it I hope the word can felts my feelings,
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:1,

Hey man, respect for putting this out there. A lot of us are fighting battles nobody sees. You're here, you're showing up for your family, and that's what counts. Keep going.
Thank you, Mike. Your words mean a lot. I’m really trying to keep showing up for my wife and baby girl no matter how hard things get. Hearing that others fight silent battles too reminds me I’m not alone. I’ll keep pushing forward. If any willing or help support with $ or something that might brings me $ online even a little would be appreciated
