Just finished season 3 and holy crap. That show does not hold back. My wife thinks it's too violent but I think it's hilarious. Anyone caught up or still working through it?
The Boys is wild but yeah, my wife's got a point on the gore level. Still hilarious though. I usually wait till the kids are asleep to catch up on my shows.
Season 3 was a lot. The show doesn't shy away from anything and honestly that's kind of refreshing compared to typical superhero stuff. Your wife might appreciate that there's actual character development underneath all the chaos.
The Boys is absolutely insane. My wife had the same reaction - she walked in during one of the more brutal scenes and just looked at me like I was watching snuff films. I get why it's not for everyone but man, the writing is sharp.
I've been thinking about starting this. Is it actually good or just violent for violence's sake? Trying to figure out if it's worth the marital argument.

Season 3 goes hard. I'm caught up and trying not to spoil anything for people still watching. It's definitely one you gotta ease into if violence isn't your thing.
