Anyone else binge watching slow burn detective shows while their kids sleep

Just finished True Detective season 1 again. My wife thinks I'm crazy for rewatching it but there's something perfect about a good show with complex characters. Wife's asleep, kids are down, I got my coffee. These are my golden hours.

True Detective season 1 is legitimately great television. Your wife doesn't get it but rewatching good shows after the kids are down is peak dad life. I've probably seen Breaking Bad 3 times through.

Same here but with Sherlock for me. There's something about having a show you know really well that you can half watch while scrolling your phone. No pressure to follow every single thing.

Not crazy at all. Slow burn shows are perfect for this phase of life. You get the quality storytelling but you're not stressing about missing something because you already know what happens.
