Anyone else binge watching The Boys with their kids way too old for it?

So my 14 year old has been begging to watch The Boys and I finally caved. Now we're on season 3 together and it's actually hilarious how uncomfortable he gets during certain scenes. Wife thinks I'm a bad parent but honestly it's become our thing. Anyone else do stuff like this or am I just asking for trouble?

Ha! We're doing the same thing. Season 2 now and yeah it's probably too much but he begged for it and honestly it's become our thing, you know? At 14 he's asking questions about it and we're actually talking through the stuff instead of him just absorbing it alone.

My kids wanted to watch that and I was like absolutely not. But I get the appeal for 14 year olds. Just make sure you're watching it with him and actually talking about what's happening on screen.

Is it weird watching something that brutal with your kid? I feel like that would throw me off but also kind of cool that you've got something you both care about watching together.
